The other day at The Lasting Supper, someone posted an "f-you" post, inviting people to vent and rant without fear. Well, needless to say, it was one of our most commented on posts! It was refreshing, funny, and poignant all at once! What an amazing group! Swearing, I argue, is a safe way to start experimenting with our freedom and independence, mainly because no one gets hurt. And if you believe in God and Hell, I don't think too many people will think you're going to Hell for swearing. They might think it is inappropriate, immature, and needless, but they shouldn't think it is sinful and punishable by eternal hellfire. I think I can safely say that almost all the people I know who've gone through or are going through deconstruction have employed the f-word, and have learned how to use it effectively. Most of us agree: there's no other word like it that expresses so much so well. Have you seen my video on the 5 stages of deconstruction? You might find it helpful. CLICK HERE TO WATCH IT! If you've gone through deconstruction or are in the middle of it, you know exactly how difficult it can be. You also probably know how useful the f-word becomes during these stressful times. At The Lasting Supper, we have managed to create an incredibly safe space to deconstruct, to change your beliefs, to lose or morph your faith, to make dramatic alterations to your life with meaningful support, and to be whoever you are with whatever you think. It's incredible. I'm very proud of it because I am watching people, including myself, experience liberation as well as achieve a very healthy, robust, and joyful life of peace. So I unabashedly invite you to join us at The Lasting Supper, where you can help yourself!
