Why Does the Church Struggle with Emotions and Questions?
BUY THIS CARTOON
The church struggles with emotions and questions.
Because both are impossible to control.
They are both disruptive.
They both challenge the status quo.
They both feel negative even though they're not.
They both can tarnish the image of the church.
They both are off brand.
They both expose the superficiality of most relationships.
Emotions and questions are real and are not going away.
I believe that if we acknowledge them, wrestle with them, articulate them, and process them in healthy ways, they are powerful change agents for a community to become more authentic and healing.
