LOVE IS FOR ALL We’re talking about all kinds of love. But, wow! Did I ever have fun drawing this cartoon. It makes me happy. I hope it makes you happy too. Why does it make me happy? Because I love diversity. I think some of the healthiest communities are also some of the most diverse. I remember many years ago when I was deep in the woods. I was meditating. WHEN ABUSERS ARE GREAT TEACHERS This cartoon portrays what happens too often in the Church in general and Christianity as a whole. Sheep scattered, slaughtered. One says to another, “You still got to admit he was a great teacher though.” This happens in businesses, universities, politics, families, and so many places. A dog and cat are on a couch reading their bibles and having devotions. The dog thinks, "I love God!" The cat thinks, "God loves me!" DOG AND CAT DEVOTIONS Both aren't wrong. LGBTQ and MEETING ALL THE REQUIREMENTS A church full of white sheep. One of them speaks to an LGBTQ rainbow sheep, “I know… I just don’t get it. You meet ALL the requirements and you STILL never get chosen for any leadership roles.” From decades of working within a certain system, the church, I discovered a painful truth: No matter how many well-intentioned people serve a system, somehow they together with it make life difficult for those they disagree with or have an issue with or just don’t like. Systemic evil doesn’t arise from any one person but from the...

A shepherd leaves the 99 sheep who are holding signs "All Sheep Matter" while he searches for the one lost sheep. ALL SHEEP MATTER Of course, what I mean by this is Black Lives Matter.  The 99 are in the wrong for insisting that all sheep matter. Because what they really mean is, "Our privilege is being threatened. Center us again!"  I've heard from so many people who have told me that they've shown this cartoon to people who insist all lives matter, and it has actually changed their minds. More of that please!
